Our Aim
SSBC is a church that loves Jesus Christ and longs to serve Him. A historical church, preaching God's truths for over 330 years, we desire to bring the relevant message of God's never-ending love to our members and those in the surrounding communities of Newtown Square. With heartfelt worship and a diligent study of God's word, we strive to inspire, equip and build a strong body of believers who apply these truths to our personal lives.
Our People
We are made up of a warmly hospitable, encouraging and loving group of people who enjoy sharing life's circumstances, proactively investing in our young people, inspiring each other to pull together as a body of Christ and to connect with each other on all levels of life's experiences. By supporting each other through difficult circumstances, rejoicing with each other in happy times and providing encouragement when needed; we feel that as we touch each others' lives, we change how we live.
Our Goal
Our goal as a church is first and foremost, to glorify Jesus Christ. We strive to bring help and hope, with encouragement through God's Word, by bringing changeless truths to a constantly changing world. Our commitment is to treat each other with the grace that God so graciously gives to us and build a family that loves God, loves His Word and loves each other. Through this desire, we become more firmly planted in God's Word as well as flourish and nourish those around us.
